A simple tool, not another account to manage
Tap Compass covers 165 Canadian credit cards across 26 issuers and 71 loyalty programs. It reads how each card rewards a given store, values the points at published rates, and shows you the winner. That is the whole job. No bank connection, no sign up wall between you and the answer, no upsell.
The rules we will not bend
It recommends, you tap
No app can pick the card for a tap in Apple Pay, Google Wallet, or Samsung Wallet, so we never pretend to. Tap Compass shows the best card and opens your wallet. The tap is yours.
No bank linking, ever
We never connect to your bank or see your transactions. You tell us the cards you carry, and we read their published reward rules. There is nothing to link and nothing to leak.
Honest by default
Real card art, honest empty states, and no invented numbers. If a store is not detected, we say so. We have no affiliate deal that changes which card we recommend.
Private on purpose
Tap Compass knows the store you are in, not where you live. Your street address is never shown or stored, and there is no profile to sell.
